REGISTRATION ... continues this weekend, October 1 & 2, for Grades 1 through 8 in the upstairs church lobby before and after each of the Masses. There is a $20 per family registration fee that will help pay for your child’s Activity and Workbooks. Classes will begin on October 16. If you have any questions, please call Josie Maskell at 297-3504.

TEACHERS NEEDED ... Please note that we are looking for another teacher as well as substitute teachers for next school year. Please also note that training will be provided as necessary. If you are interested, please contact the Rectory at 297-7361

FIRST GRADE REGISTRATION ... If you have a child who will be beginning First Grade this coming school year, you will need to fill out a registration card which can be found on the table in the upstairs front lobby of the church. The same also applies to any new families in our Parish who will have children in any of our Grades 1 through 9. Please note that registration will take place this weekend, October 1 / 2.

FR. BRYAN STITT, PAROCHIAL VICAR ... As I previously mentioned, we will soon by joined by Fr. Bryan Stitt, who will assist us here at St. Patrick’s and St. Mary’s as Parochial Vicar. He will arrive at the beginning of October and has been assigned here until the spring of next year.

As many of you already know, I (Fr. Lewis) have been named as Pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. This is now official. My duties will include being pastor of St. Patrick’s Church (including the territory of the former St. Joseph’s Church in
Coopersville) and St. Mary’s Church. My plan is to be available on Mondays and Tuesdays at St. Patrick’s and Thursdays and Fridays at St. Mary’s. As we all know, this is subject to change depending on unforeseen circumstances. I ask for your understanding and patience in this time of transition.

MASS SCHEDULE ...The combined Mass schedule for the two parishes will be as follows:

St. Patrick’s: (Anticipated) 4:00PM and 10:00AM
St. Mary’s: (Anticipated) 5:30PM and 8:00AM.

The weekday Mass schedule will be as follows:

St. Patrick’s: 9:00AM Masses on Monday and Tuesday and Communion Service on Wednesday;

St. Mary’s: 9:00AM Masses on Thursday and Friday. The exception to our weekday
Mass schedule will be on First Friday when Mass will be at St. Patrick’s at 9:00AM, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 11:00A

As far as Holy Days are concerned, we will have a 9:00AM Mass and a 7:00PM Mass at St. Patrick's and a 12:05PM Mass at St. Mary’s.
